Vandel Invisible Doors Festival:

Celebrating Home and Community through Music and Art

What does “Home” mean to you? How do you know where your “Home” really is? Why do some people leave home while others stay? How can we create one when we’re far from…home?

Join us for a day of music, art, and family fun that explores and celebrates HOME at the first annual art and music festival hosted by Vandel Efterskole and Vandel Musik- og Kulturforening, and organized by a group of local and international artists, musicians, and writers. With musicians and artists from the area’s Danish and international communities, as well as activities, workshops, and exhibitions for kids and adults, we’ll celebrate the vibrant tapestry that makes our region unique.

We’ll have musical performances by Invisible Doors, Lazy Atomic Eye, and Los Roundabouts, as well as a special classical music performance by Elena Casquete Medina. Hands-on art workshops will inspire creativity in artists of all ages and abilities, while interactive installations and exhibitions will showcase some of the best artists, painters, poets, and writers our region has to offer. Or just come, relax, and meet friends—and make new ones.

We’ll have local and international foods to try, freshly brewed coffee, or bring your own food and enjoy a picnic as you soak in the festive atmosphere.

Feel inspired to contribute? Want to participate? We’re always looking for new and established artists, writers and musicians to join our celebration with workshops, performances, or exhibitions. Join us on 6. October from 10am-5pm at Vandel Efterskole for a day that celebrates the different places we called home, and the home that we all share.
